Employee Assistance Program

The EAP through GuidanceResources is a free confidential resource that is available to all benefits-eligible employees and their immediate family members.

You and your family members receive up to three sessions (in person, over-the-phone, or video counseling sessions) per issue with a licensed clinician to address each of the following (and more):

  • Marriage, family, and relationship issues
  • Emotional health
  • Work-related pressures

GuidanceResources provides free professional referrals for concerns, such as:

  • Dependent care
  • Financial, legal, and identity theft consultation
  • Work-life balance

You can contact GuidanceResource anytime. All contact with GuidanceResource is kept confidential. Information about your situation will not be made available to anyone, including Principia.

Principia employees have free access to Uwill, a virtual care provider specializing in mental health. While the service is geared toward college students, faculty and staff may take advantage of up to 8 counseling sessions (or more, depending on service-type used).
